Tony Harvie is a Managing Partner with CultureSmith Inc. and is the co-developer of HireEQTM and CareerSmithTM.
Tony began his career in recruitment in 2001 working his way up to becoming Director of a multi-national Fortune 500 recruitment firm. He has personally interviewed over 10,000 candidates which has provided him with a keen understanding of both why people are influenced to leave organizations, and what progressive leaders need to do to prevent this from happening.
As the head of CultureSmith’s HireEQTM division Tony is responsible for assisting our clients identify, attract and retain those individuals who stand to make the organizational climate of the organizations we serve improve from day one. He also has strategic oversight of the growth of this division including the development of new products and tools that help turn our client companies ‘into places people care about’.
Tony also oversees CareerSmithTM our innovative EQ development program specifically for job seekers. This program allows job seekers to leverage the emotional tension generated from being in a job search and apply it more effectively to other aspects of their life, growing their EQ in the process.
Tony holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Operations and is active in his community as a coach in both minor hockey and youth baseball, and in an executive capacity serving as both President of Bow Valley Hockey Society and an Executive Board Member of Fish Creek Little League.
